Brian Leaning CA

Brian has been a qualified chartered accountant for twenty-nine years, and a partner in HLB Mann Judd for twenty two years. Originally, he worked in audit services, but now specialises in structuring for small to medium sized businesses and trusts.

Brian is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

He is married with two daughters, and enjoys all sports, but particularly boating, fishing and diving.

Philip Judge BCom CA

Philip has twenty-six years of experience in chartered accountancy practices, including all aspects of accounting services. He worked in the United Kingdom and South Africa before returning to New Zealand. He joined HLB Mann Judd in1988, and became a partner shortly thereafter.

Philip holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Philip leads the HLB Mann Judd audit practice and performs many kinds of business services and taxation work. He specializes in group structures and the use of trusts for asset protection.

Philip is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family.

David Hoy, BCom CA

David is based in our North Shore office and specializes in providing business and taxation advice for medium sized business entities, including companies, trusts, and sole traders.

David has seventeen years of experience in chartered accounting, and has been with HLB Mann Judd for fourteen years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

David is married with two young children who keep him very busy. He also enjoys underwater hockey, diving, fishing and gardening.

Jason Edwards, B Com / LLB, CA

Jason is based in our Auckland City office and has twelve years of experience in chartered accountancy practices, including several years spent as an audit specialist for the earlier part of his career.

He joined HLB Mann Judd in April 2007 and became a director in October 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Law, and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Jason performs all kinds of business services and taxation work. He also has experience in audit, valuations and financial reporting.

Jason is married with two young children. He enjoys family, sport, music, and reading.
